Message	You're risking the valves attempting to start the engine with the belt that loose. If you just want to see if the engine runs I can send you an old junky but functioning tensioner for free + cost of shipping. Yes FREE! Alternatively see if you can manually adjust the tensioner to the end of it's travel. Do this only to see if the car runs. Going this path puts all the stress on the belt instead of the tensioner which would be ok for very a short duration.
